Here's one way some do it:
To increase saliva: gently tap your teeth together 36 times for each round (molars, front teeth, canines) can stimulate saliva production. After generating saliva, move it around your mouth with your tongue before swallowing, imagining it traveling down your throat and into your stomach. This "saliva-stirring" technique is common in Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine for activating the body's secretion systems.
