could you disable right-clicking would that help? but if someone really doesnt want there pics/vids spread they shouldnt post them on the net. we post and its kind of expected it sucks because i'd like to at least know where the stuff is at....

The only thing that would do is slow down someone trying to save the pics and annoy the regular members just trying to navigate this site. Flickr has a method of preventing people from downloading "protected" photos but even then if someone really wants a copy they can just hit print screen.Originally Posted by uncut1974

A combination of a watermark and restricting competition access to platinum members would probably be the most effective way of preventing the pics from being reposted simply because the amount of people with platinum memberships is significantly smaller than the number of free members. But removing the competition from the free section might reduce the amount of people (like myself) who signed up for a platinum membership after seeing some of the pics that the members were posting every month.
its a tough call, freedom vs security. In all honesty this is making me a little more sympathetic (not that much) to the RIAA & MPAA's use of DRM.

i know its expected but i would like to know where it went and also get some type of credit for it. because anyone can take it and be like oh thats my gf or my ex right there. we've seen a few fakes on here.
All of your concerns are valid, reposting on the internet is and always will be a problem.
Myself and a number of other staff spent today tracking down these pics, speaking with the admin of that site, and getting those pics removed.
We also know who the offender was and he will be dealt with as well. As much as some people don't like watermarks, they are still the best way for us to go to another site and have them help us to remove them. We were lucky the admin on that site felt the same as we did and helped us resolve it quickly.
Now going forward.....
Do not repost pictures of members of Facial Forum at other sites. We will find them and deal with the offending poster. For the most part the people who post in our comps do not want their pics reposted elsewhere. Do not ruin it for everyone else by being a leech and trying to get credit for other people's pictures.
I would ask that anyone who was affected by this to understand we take this seriously, and please don't delete your pics from here, when you do that means the cheaters win and we all lose.
Let's not let the small minorty of people who do rotten stuff like this ruin it for the rest of us ok?

OK, here's the action thats been taken
After some super interaction with the guys over at DS (lots of kudos goes out to DS's Admin's & Mod's for their swift action) we have been able to identify the culprit in question via their IP address. The user in question on this occassion is princess_g
Due to blatantly failing to show any consideration to a fellow ff.net member & the systematic ripping/uploading of our members personal content we have taken the decision to permanently ban this user via their IP address.
Please therefore be under no illusions that should we find other ff.net users who are dong the exact same thing, they will share a similar fate.
Notwithstanding the above...being as this matter is now 'put to bed' lets get back to the purposes of this thread.......some good old facial fun competition !

well done guys, this type of thing is why i love this forum - well run and considerate of posters off all types. And before we move on to the regular topic of this thread, perhaps it should be said that members should all be vigilante of reposting and report to mods when we see it - i know that i have seen it before and haven't realised that anything can be done about it - i think this incident proves that things can in some way be solved, so perhaps we should all put on our Sherlock Holmes hats!
Great job guys on dealing with this person and thanks to bigcummer and facialprincess for reporting this,glad we have found and got rid of this very stupid and spiteful member.
Not only was he posting elsewhere pics that members posted here in good faith in the interest of sharing and having fun while doing it,he was also ruining it for all the members who dont contribute material but enjoy the monthly competition and the unique and brilliant pics we see here every month.
Thanks again to all the staff and members who worked together to find and get rid of this now ex member who will never be able to join and view this forum again.
And a big thanks to all the members who contribute their material and make this forum the best there is.

I know i am a little late to chime in on this but it is nice to know that the admins here on FF take this seriously. I have seen a few of our pics end up on newbie nudes. We contacted the user (on NN) and the site but it all fell on deaf ears.
