Suggestion: Thanks button

Thanks for your suggestion soild, we always try to encourage members to take a more active part in the forum, anything that might help improve the members stay in here is always appreciated.

As for your suggestion and this is just my personal viewpoint here, (admin of course have the final say on all matters in here), I have seen this idea adopted on many of the forums I visit and I find it a little distracting and it think it has a tendency to discourage members leaving any comments at all.
It's too easy to click on a "thanks button" and move on, rather than leave something a little more constructive.

We like to think of this place as a sharing community, which shares not only material but feedback, views and comments on other peoples efforts and a "thanks button" system might detract members from doing just that.
