I tried that, to no avail, but it seems like the problem isn't with my cache. In fact, an addon for Chrome was causing the upload to fail. I just installed a video autoplay stopper, which apparently prevents the upload manager from working correctly. I disabled it, and the uploads work normally now.

On a side note, is there any way to log into FF securely, with HTTPS?
